Who we are

What we sell

Two different things, on two different bases. First, custom snowboards: designed live with you in a design session, then built to order — each one is a one-off, made to your specification, not a stock item. Second, shop merch: t-shirts, hoodies, beanies, wax and stickers, held as ordinary stock and sold the way any small retailer sells stock.

Ordering and the design session

A board order starts with booking a design session, not a checkout. You pick a date, pay the deposit below, and turn up for a 2–3 hour session where the artist draws your topsheet with you in the room. Once the design is agreed, the board is pressed the same afternoon, then cured and finished over the following days — see the Session page for the full build timeline.

The deposit

Booking a session requires a non-refundable deposit. The deposit isn't a booking fee — it's payment for the hours the artist spends on your board before you ever walk in: research, thumbnail sketches, material prep. That time gets spent whether or not the board ends up built, so we ask you to pay for it up front, the way a tattoo studio would.

Rescheduling: Free up to 5 days before your session. Inside that window the deposit stays with us, since the prep time has already gone in.

No-shows: No-shows forfeit the deposit outright. We'll always try to reach you first if something looks off — life happens, but the artist's afternoon still needs covering.

Custom boards are non-returnable

This is the one clause we want you to read before you order, not after — so it's here, early, in the same plain language as the rest of this page.

Every board is drawn and built to your own specification, in the room, with you — once the build starts, it's yours. There's no catalogue version to restock, so a change of heart can't be undone the way it can with a t-shirt. That's our store policy, stated plainly and up front rather than buried in the small print.

You still get a 48-hour grace window after your design session to flag anything that isn't right, and a genuine manufacturing defect or transit damage is always covered, regardless of how long you've had the board — full detail on the Shipping & Returns page, alongside the separate return policy that applies to shop merch.

Reference art and copyright

Plenty of sessions start with a photo, a tattoo, or someone else's artwork as inspiration. If you bring reference material, you're confirming that you have the right to use it — a photo you took yourself is fine; a copyrighted illustration, someone else's signed artwork, or a stock image you don't hold rights to is not something we can legally put on your board.

You take responsibility for any copyright or trademark infringement in reference material you provide. We won't knowingly trace or reproduce another artist's signed work — if a reference is clearly someone else's finished piece, we'll use it as inspiration and draw you something that's actually yours, not a copy.

Board scope and sales tax

This site doesn't display prices. Board scope — materials, size, and design complexity — is confirmed at booking and again before your session, and shop merch is confirmed at the time you order. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout, not before.

Warranty

Every board carries a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects. It doesn't cover impact damage or normal wear. Full scope and how to claim are on the Shipping & Returns page.

Liability

We're liable for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to take reasonable care, up to the amount you paid us. We don't exclude or limit liability for anything the law doesn't allow us to limit, such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. We're not liable for losses that aren't a foreseeable consequence of us breaking these terms — for example, lost income if you'd planned to resell a custom board.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any dispute we can't resolve directly is subject to the jurisdiction of the Colorado state courts, without affecting any consumer-protection rights you have under Colorado or federal law that can't be signed away by agreement.

How to complain

Talk to us first — most things sort out fastest by email or in person at the studio. If you want to raise a formal complaint, contact us in writing and we'll confirm receipt and respond within 15 days; how to file one is explained on the Shipping & Returns page.
